Is it possible to equip a fragbook with the illuminated keyboard of MSI GT780 (from MSI Spareparts)?

Since I don't the construct of an illuminated keyboard, I can't say if it possible or not. what you could do is to ask deviltech for the barebone model and then send msi an email about it. You can also try to see if it's possible and share it with the forum.

Unfortunately this is not possible. Backlit keyboard has two cables. Fragbook DTX has only one connection. Also I've watched it.

Die Verteilung ist die gleiche. Aber die hintergrundbeleuchtete Tastatur verfügt über zwei Anschlüsse. Fragbook hat nur einen Anschluss.

if you look up the MSI MS-1761 barebone which is the Fragbook (and the GT780DX) you will find some people that have got the Steelseries keyboard installed in theirs.
Some shops even offer it as an build to order option for their MS-1761 barebones.

The problem with the Steelseries keyboard is the price. The lowest price i saw was 99$ + shipping.

So i don't think i'm gonna try this but if any of you install the Steelseries keyboard in their Fragbook please tell us about it.

and dont forget that you possibly void your warranty when you replace the keyboard (but im not sure about that)

Hi, ich habe ein Fragbook mit der Sandybridge CPU und der 570m GTX.

Als ich die Tastatur abgenommen hatte und meinen Arbeitspeicher eingesteckt habe,habe ich auch wegen der beleuchteten Tastatur nachgeschaut.Also wir haben einen 2. Anschluss.

Der ist quasie auf Höhe der linken Strg Taste.Nur auf der anderen Seite der Platine.Man kann das Kabel auch von oben durch schieben.Ist alles vorbereitet.Beim MSI Shop auf dem Bild ist das Kabel auch unten links.Ich habe mir auch ans Herz gefasst und die Tastatur bei MSi bestellt morgen oder Dienstag ist die da. Achtung 3 Tastaturen sind noch im Lager

Ich gebe euch bescheit,wenn sie da ist und mache auch Bilder und Poste sie.

Achso und ich werde mir eine 0815 Grafikkarte holen zum testen wegen der Kompatiebelität.Wenns passt in Sachen Treiber Schaue ich mich nach ner stärker GFX um.Wenn es nur Probleme wegen den Höhen gibt,kann ich die Kühlplatte fräsen bzw etwas rauf bringen.

Sooo, also heute ist die Tastatur angekommen. Und sie passt....fasst.

Die MSI Tastatur hat ein paar grössere Nasen,die so nicht passen.Was man aber leicht abändern kann ohne Beschädigung.Das Tipgefühl ist etwas anders,etwas härter.Das MSI-Tool wegen den Farbänderungen, funktioniert auch einwandfrei.

Wenn jemand genaue Infos mit Bildern haben will,kann mkich gerne anschreiben.Am besten per mail....22meatball@gmx.de
